Reunion After Action Report!

REUNION 2016:  As you know, our 52nd anniversary reunion is now in the history books.  The event was headquartered at “The Four Points by Sheraton,” Jacksonville Beach, FL, 14 – 18 April 2016.  This event was laid-back, and casual without any coat/tie nor fancy cocktail dresses required!  Shorts, tank tops, flip flops, and a light coat of oil was all that was need!  However, carrying an anchor would have been handy as the wind was atrocious!  Ron and Camelia Ray graciously hosted this event, making it one to remember! The Rays picked up the tab for our hospitality room at the hotel (along with stocking the bar and providing snacks & meals with our own private cook and bar tender) plus hosting a cocktail party on Friday night and our class dinner (cook-out) Sunday evening: both at their home. There were two days for golfing and doing tourist things.  Ron also provided a chartered bus to chauffer us around during the entire reunion! Our entire group was bussed to St. Augustine where we enjoyed a day touring this historical American city.  The weather was great and we all made it back to our hotel.  The golfers were accompanied by several of Ron’s friends and fellow golfers which included: Gary Bilts (Retired as Global Marketing director for Chrysler), Rick Davis (Retired from Ford as head of fleet sales), Bob Hersh (Former major sales rep for high end shoe companies which included Bally’s), Bob Rowe (developer from Gainesville, FL), and the PGA Tour Pro: Morris Hatalsky who toured/played for 38 years winning 4 times plus many other PGA awards.  So you see our golfing classmates played with the BEST; all fellow golfers of Ron Ray.  Again, our grateful thanks go out to Ron and Camelia Ray for their overwhelming hospitality and graciousness!
